Ultimate.Broker
01 · Overview One cockpit for the whole brokerage
Ultimate.Broker is the CRM, back office and trader portal Red Acre ships to forex brokers: customers, transactions, affiliates and analytics in a single product.
02 · The challenge A business that lives on numbers
Broker operators juggle volumes, balances, KYC states and partner commissions all day. The product had to make that data readable at a glance for non-technical staff, without dumbing down the depth power users need.
03 · The approach Hierarchy, not subtraction
The handful of numbers an operator checks every morning sit on the surface. Everything else lives one level down.
04 · The flows What is drifting
on the right
- Dashboard: broker health, volumes and growth, in both light and dark mode.
- Transactions: deposits and withdrawals with filters, statuses and payment detail.
- KYC & compliance: individual and corporate verification, document upload and the full customer file.
- Trading & support: the trade view, support notes and the filters staff work through.
- Settings: branding, payment methods, integrations and the inactivity fee engine.
- Oversight: the audit log and user inactivity monitoring.
05 · Conclusion Readable at a glance,
deep underneath
Most people reading a broker's numbers are not analysts. The few who dig deepest into them are. Simplify too far and the power users lose their tools. Expose everything and nobody can find the one figure that matters this morning.
I resolved that with hierarchy rather than subtraction. A card-based dashboard puts broker health, trading volume and growth where they read instantly, and depth sits one level down in filters, drawers and the full customer file instead of on the surface. A modular system on shadcn/ui foundations, with tokens for type, spacing, colour and elevation, keeps every module consistent as the product grows. Dark and light modes and localization were designed in from the start rather than retrofitted.
The full journey shipped on desktop and mobile: onboarding, funding, KYC and admin. Settings, the audit log and inactivity monitoring got the same care as the dashboard, so the parts of a back office nobody demos are as usable as the parts that sell it. Feature rollout got faster and handoff got cleaner, because new modules are assembled from the system instead of drawn from scratch.
